Alessia Cara
At the age of 19, she released her debut single Here. It quickly became a hit, and both critics and the fans were awed by it. In the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked it at 19. Even Rolling Stone listed the smash as one the the Top Songs of 2015. She released her debut Know It All album in the year that followed. The third single, Scars to Your Beautiful was the first of five songs that reached the top of the charts on Billboard which included Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100. The track is special since, in light of the Rap-Up interview that she gave many of people who listened to her music could connect to her experiences of finding love for themselves, as well as doubting herself. Cara is well-known for her ability to incorporate songs about mental health, compassion and self-love in her songs. Her music is a reflection of her personal struggle with insomnia and mental health. In an Reuters interview, she described the album as being half turbulent and half perfected. People have told her that she found her growth through therapy. Alessia Cara grew up in Toronto, Canada. Her birth date was July 11, 1996 to parents of Italian descent. Her parents gifted her with guitar at the age of 10 years old, which ignited her love for music. Three years later, when she was 13, she began singing her most loved songs via YouTube. It was an excellent opportunity to show others her talent and courage. Sweater Weather is among those covers that led to her being discovered at the time by EP Entertainment. This record label allowed her create new songs of her own.
